What size disposal do I need?
For most households, a half to three-quarter horsepower unit is plenty. Big-batch cooks benefit from one horsepower. Bigger is not automatically better, and we will not sell you power you will never use.
Can you replace my dead disposal with the same model?
Usually, and swaps of the same brand often reuse the mounting, which keeps the cost down. If the old model is gone, we match a current one to the same mount where possible.
Why does my sink gurgle since a disposal was added?
The drain geometry is likely off, a common DIY-install symptom. Air is being pulled through the trap. We rework the layout so it drains the way it should.
Does the dishwasher really connect to the disposal?
