How is a tankless install different from a tank swap?
A tankless unit needs different venting, often a larger gas line, and new mounting and connections. It is a conversion, not a swap, which is why it takes longer and why the installer’s skill matters more.
Will a tankless heater really never run out of hot water?
It heats water as it flows, so it does not run out the way a tank does. The unit does have a flow limit, which is why sizing to your household’s real demand matters. We size it right so showers and laundry can run together.
Does my gas line need to be upgraded?
