Can you run a gas line for my new range?
Yes, that is one of our most common gas jobs: a new run or extension from your existing system to the kitchen, sized for the range, with a proper shutoff behind it.
Do I need a permit for a gas line?
In most DMV jurisdictions, yes, new gas piping is permitted and inspected work. We handle the permit as part of the job. A gas line installed without one becomes a problem when you sell the house, if not sooner.
Can my existing gas system handle another appliance?
That is a math question, and we do the math: total demand of everything connected versus what your meter and piping can deliver. If the system needs upsizing, you will know before anything is installed.
Do you run lines for standby generators?
Yes. Generators pull serious fuel under load, and an undersized line is the most common cause of generator problems. We size the run for full-load draw.
How do you make sure the new line is safe?
It is pressure-tested beyond operating pressure and checked at every joint before it is connected to fuel, then inspected where the county requires. Nothing carries gas until it has proven tight.
